These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ontap mobile application ("the app," "ontap," "we," "us"), operated by Luca Drew Preston, an individual developer. By downloading, accessing, or using ontap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years of age, and of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, to use ontap. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. ontap is a tool for logging your own beverage consumption and is not intended for, or directed at, anyone underage.
ontap is designed to help you record and reflect on your own habits. It is not intended to encourage excessive or unsafe drinking. You are solely responsible for your own choices regarding alcohol. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, health, or other professional advice. If you are concerned about your drinking, please consult a qualified professional.
When using ontap, you agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you create in ontap, such as your beer logs and profile photo. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you (for example, syncing your logs and showing them to friends you choose to share with). You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to use it.
ontap includes optional social features such as friends, leaderboards, and shared locations. What you share with other users is controlled by your privacy settings. Be mindful that information you choose to share — including locations — may be visible to friends you have approved. You can adjust or disable sharing at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to ontap, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the service. You may stop using ontap and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
We work to keep ontap running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service over time.
ontap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luca Drew Preston will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) ontap. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of ontap after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
